Home is where the heart is, they say, and we were delighted to be invited to return to a venue just a short walk from our spiritual home at Old Deer Park. The Barn Church, Kew, was the first church in England to be built from a barn, its timbers coming from a 17th-century barn in Oxted (dismantled, moved and reassembled in Kew in 1929), and provides a stunning concert setting. We were delighted to welcome our friends from Rhos Orpheus Male Choir (Wrexham), and both choirs delivered some of their favourite tunes before a night to remember back at London Welsh Rugby Club.
