Perfect Pitch

For four weeks in summer a small corner of London became Welsh, as we installed a pop-up studio at The Welsh Chapel in Clapham.

As our rehearsal space, we know this unique venue well, and it became the perfect location to showcase some of the new additions to our repertoire – alongside a few classics as well.

From the much-loved Calon Lan and Myfanwy – still the most-requested song whenever we are in concert – to the lilting Ar Hyd y Nos and triumphant Sanctus, we’re delighted to bring you some of the best choral arrangements Welsh music has to offer.

But there’s more… Yellow Bird has Creole roots and a calypso-inspired flow, while Va Pensiero is drawn from the chorus of Nabucco by Giuseppe Verdi. And for something completely different, we’re thrilled to unveil our tribute to the man behind some the most-loved movies of all time, in John Williams is the Man.

As a follow up to our original recording, Swn Y Ddraig, we’re proud to bring you a selection of our favourite songs.
